Every day, our clinic team in Deir Al Balah is hard at work caring for the children who call the Academy of Hope home. From treating everyday illnesses to providing trauma-informed counseling, they are the heartbeat of our community.

Staffed by local doctors, nurses, and a psychologist, and supported through telemedicine by global experts, our clinic is the first pediatric field clinic for orphans in Gaza. It means that children who once had nowhere to turn for healthcare now have a safe place where they are seen, heard, and cared for.

On any given morning, you’ll find our team checking temperatures, listening to little lungs, dressing scrapes, and offering the calm reassurance that only a trusted caregiver can bring. Beyond medical treatment, the clinic also provides stability, dignity, and hope.
